Re: IML: Imperial article in Classic Car magazine

I would assume that this is the same "full time power steering" that was on the almost Imperials a couple of years later?.
I remember my father telling someone that he was pulled over one evening by one of South Dakota's finest law officals.
I guess the officer had noticed my father weaving down the road in his 1955 New Yorker .
They thought they had a drunk when in fact he just hadn't mastered the no feel of Chrysler Power steering.

Read the article yesterday. Excellent photos, by the way. I think the writer captured the aura of the car. And he certainly nailed the power steering...it is so light, a fly could almost move the wheel if he landed on it.

Wish my grille looked like the one in the pics...

The December issue of Hemmings Classic Car magazine has a great article about a 1953 Imperial. The feature car is a beautiful Niagara blue in color.
I thought the magazine did the Imperial name credit with great pictures to boot.
The Online Imperial Club is also mentioned !
Could the cars owner Michael Mauss be a list member?
