I've a '57 Imperial with the "reverse" arch !!! I don't worried because the FSM says:"It should be remembered that it is perfectly normal for rear springs to show some reverse arch, even with no load, so appearance alone should not be the cause for the rejection of a spring" Note that i've put a pair of new Monroe air shocks (in case of ..) on my car. Less expensive and very useful if i put a heavy load in the trunk.
