The odometers read up to 199,999 miles. Above that, I don't know what happens, but my guess is that they roll over to 100,000, not zero. One can find out the true mileage on these cars by hitting the "KM" display option, as they roll over at a different point. You can do a little math and figure out what the actual total is, if the dash has never been replaced. Many of these cars have replacement dashes, usually due to having been converted to carburetor. If any funny business has been done on the dash, the odometer will have an asterisk (*) in the middle of the display, warning you that the displayed mileage is not correct. If the car has been converted to carburetor by a dealer using the factory issued kit, there should be a label on the driver's door post (and a duplicate inside the glovebox door) stating the mileage at which it was done. This is to be added the mileage displayed on the replacement dash to get the correct total.
