I don't know that carburettor technology actually *has* improved since
then. They only lasted another 15 years or so after that in production cars,
and most of those carbs were designed for things I think are pretty goofy,
like light weight, or lower emissions, or something. Edelbrock's still
making brand new AVSes, only slightly modified, and people pay pretty good
money for them.

IIRC, it's a 630.
