IML: LeBaron Rear Window Filler

Can anyone tell me what material is used to fill the gap between the 
fibreglass LeBaron rear window insert and the metal on a '74-'75 Imperial?

There is quite a gap (1/2" wide and deep sections) where the screws go.  It 
looks like some kind of tape was placed over the top of it but I can't tell 
what type of filler (if any) was used.
