What I find interesting is this goes on on all the forums. I know on the Cadillac forums I belong to there is a constant battle on Keep it stock or go custom. I must say that I am a "keep it stock" person, however, I have seen some very nice customs. I also find it interesting that we all like the fully optioned cars. I feel these are custom cars in a way. If we all liked the same thing we would all be driving white Camry's. I do think it is great to have a forum where we can see and write about the cars, whether custom or stock, that we all have put a lot of time, money and sprit into. With shame I must admit that I have posted some negative comment about the custom car on Ebay. Its just because these cars are getting so seldom these days that I wrote with emotion instead of common sense, but I assure you that I would think twice with regard to my future posts. Ofcourse we (still..) live in a free world and everyone must be able to make his own choices when it comes to how to restore a classic car. Sorry once again if I hurt anybodys feelings, like Kenyon said it was an emotion driven reply only based on a personal opinion. And hey, after all it is still a real 1960 Imperial that is on sale now on Ebay. A car that we as IML members have to love because it was designed by a genius, namely mr. Virgil Exner ! I hope the car will go to someone that take good care of it and put a lot of TLC in it!
