One thing I have noticed is that every couple of days I would do an Imperial search on Eb. It was usually around 500 to 600 items. In the last three months it has been between 2200 and 2600 items consistently.

That's not because Imperials are suddenly more popular on Ebay. It's because of something called keyword spamming. Most of those 2,000 auctions have nothing to do with Imperials. They're for 22 inch chrome wheels, power antenna and convertible top motors for Fords, 318 rebuild kits with rings, generic wiring harnesses, etc etc etc. All the seller has to do is include the name of every car make there ever was and Bingo - tons of hits for their auction.

There may be increased interest in Imperials in the marketplace but be careful what you wish for.
