Fw: IML: more carb questions

I have two 67 Imperials and one has the stock carburetor. The other has an edelbrock with an electric choke. The previous owner ran power to the electric choke from the voltage regulator. I believe this is done so that if the key is left in the on position with the motor off the choke will not open up.
