I was following this thread and wondering how the ignition effects the best type of spark plug.

I replaced my stock ignition last year with a new Mopar distributor with "low performance" vacuum advance and an Orange ECU and an MSD Blaster II coil which I believe puts out 45,000 volts.

Has anyone done this and do different plugs work better?

I have used Autolite 85s with excellent results.  Considering that the newer and more expensive spark plugs are intended for cars with newer and more expensive electrical systems, I do not see the value.  Our plugs get removed/inspected/replaced far more often than those in newer cars.
