Re: IML: leaf springs for '66 convertible

Hio All....another question Re: the rear leaf springs for my '66 converetible....I received a price from 'Springs & Things' which is a supplier back East that i had originally got the springs I had put on my previous '66, but they are saying that there is a 'option' of HD leafs, which I believe have 7-leafs instaed of the 'usual' 6-leafs for the convertible. Does anyone have any experience with these HD optional springs? are they worth it or are they ONLY of I am gong to be carrying LOTS!!!! of weight in the trunk (yes, I grew up in Brooklyn & New York City!)
......I remeber someone on this list telling me back when I ordered the leaf's for my old car that the convertible's springs had a different 'bend' radious so were slight;y different from the non-convertible models due to the weight. The supplier confirms that the ones they want to sell me are the correct ones and in fact, the same ones that I ordered previously, so its just a question about this 'HD' label and whether or not I need anything other than the STANDARD leaf's.
