While dreaming overseas, when you go hunting for that A500/518, you might
want to think about grabbing the Magnum 318/360 (and related FI pieces)
that's attached to it. A donor Dakota/Ram/Ram Van would be ideal.

Yep, there are two guys on Moparts (Patrick and somebody that did it first)
that have installed A500 in M-body 5th Aves. IIRC, they both cut and modded
the tunnel, but both "thought" they didn't really have to. It's certainly
way easier than on an A/B/E body car. I have two Imperials so I plan to
give the junkyard a try for the efi/mpg car. It was going to be a parts
car, so not much to lose. Then if it works out I'll worry about the 360/727
car. Of course, being in overseas has put a damper on my wrenching.
