The 90-93 Imperial (aka KImperial) is an awesome car. It's not a tank like the 50's and 60's cars but, for a smaller, FWD car (that gets 30 mpg+) it rides as nicely as any huge luxobarge. Many wouldn't believe this but it's true. IMO, the 1993 Imperial is the last true luxury car to come out of Detroit. Since then cars that are supposed to be luxurious ride like a stone boat rather than a luxury car. I love the fact that my KImperial is a low optioned model. That means that I can enjoy the car without being cursed with endless gadgets like air ride suspension, security system, digital dash and trip computer. These are needless toys that only make the car troublesome and add little to the enjoyment of the car. YMMV. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Harvey Wells" <harveys68imperial@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, October 24, 2006 8:57 PM Subject: Re: IML: 90-93 IMPERIAL Jerry my .02 on the digital vs analog dash is the analog will probably be readable. My digital works fine but not very bright in the daytime and the odometer has some burnt out sections, so some numbers look funny 0 8 6. ----------------- http://www.imperialclub.com ----------------- This message was sent to you by the Imperial Mailing List.
