The dash pad isn't cracked, and the steering wheel looks too good. Both
appear to be original. Arizona may be famous for no rust and great chrome,
but virtually everything else deteriorates at an accelerated rate, unless
the car is keep in the garage.
That VIN tag is exactly correct. I haven't ever seen one that wasn't shiny
and fastened that way.

I'm a little more worried about the sparkling, polished vin tag that is NOT
riveted in place and the scraped up build tag which has obviously been
screwed and unscrewed more than once. At least for a $12K buy it now. I'm
curious as to why Paul thinks the car isn't from Arizona based upon the
interior work. Maybe it's the paint? In my experience the desert cars
(Arizona, Nevada, Cali-desert) have great sheet metal, but always have
rubber rot and need interior work because of the heat.
