Now, after doing that and adjusting the trans fluid while running in neutral to "OK," the trans seems to be shifting fine. But, here's my question. When i first pulled it out of the driveway after adjusting the fluid, and driving it around the block, it DID slip a couple of times, but then after those initial couple of slips it was shifting ok... does this sound normal? I'm assuming that maybe it took a couple of shifts for the gears to get all nice and lubricated or something, then after it circulated well enough it shifts just fine.
And, i checked under the car after driving it and saw absolutely NO leaks, which is nice. Hopefully everything holds up well.
Now, my only issue to tackle is my carb/choke not acting properly. Just a bit ago while driving it, the car stalled out on me and the oil pressure light came on (no gauge, just dummy lights) I had to manually pop open the choke with my finger, and then it would start. Why is the oil light coming on? Does that have anything to do with the choke? I think i may have a vacuum leak or something, i'm not sure.
