I'm mostly concerned with the proper mounting of the item. Currently it's hanging from the diagonal support by a piece of bailing wire. The FSM doesn't show the actual mounting. Once I figure out what's wrong with the system and fix it, I'd like to mount this switch in its original position. -----Original Message----- From: mailing-list-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mailing-list-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Brian Sent: Thursday, January 04, 2007 11:01 PM To: mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: IML: Thermostatic Vacuum Delay Switch - 68 LeBaron It really plays a very limited role in the operation of the autotemp system. It stops the vacuum flow to the master switch and/or blower switch under the dash.....this is from memory. It is easy enough to bypass and see if the system comes on. Is this the problem you are having?? > [Original Message] > From: Ken Lang <ken@xxxxxxxxxxx> > To: <mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: 1/4/2007 10:35:53 PM > Subject: RE: IML: Thermostatic Vacuum Delay Switch - 68 LeBaron > > Brian, > Yes it is the one that keeps the Auto Temp (heater) from coming on until the > engine coolant reaches 125 degrees.
