Needed
Ha! Very funny... However appearance is not the issue. The
flared drums dissipate heat more rapidly than the non-flared drums creating
the possibility of uneven braking with a flared one on one side and non-flared
one on the other side.
Someone contacted me off list who has the
correct drums. I may purchase all four for the extra margin of safety the
extra cooling will provide.
Have a great day Brad

IML: 1966 Brake Drum Needed/x-tad-bigger>/fontfamily>
Can
anyone point me in the right direction to find a rear brake drum for
my 66 Crown? I've called several of the vendors listed on the IML
site with no success. The drums on my car are not the originals
and are not flared so clearly there is a substitute that will work, I
just don't know what they came off of. I'd prefer to get one that
is not flared, otherwise I'll have to buy two flared ones to keep both
sides
consistent.
Thanks Brad
