That sounds like a casting number to me. As far as I know, there isn't an cross reference. You may be able to post a picture on the OIC web site, and someone might be able to identify it for you.

I've got a piece of chrome trim that I got with some other '61 Imperial parts. I don't know what it is or where it goes. I don't even know if it's from a '61 Imperial. Is there any way to find out? The part number is:
