Re: IML: 1960 Imperial LeBaron Engine Paint color Q & A

Thanks for your help Uncle Roger. I tried to navigate and order off of that website on two different computers and I simply cannot get my order placed without a "Page cannot be found" screen that keeps popping up on me. I went ahead and left a message on their answering machine and basically told them I am interested in any and all reproduction stickers he currently has available or in inventory for my car. And again, thank you so much for your help!

Best Regards,

All of the 413's used in the Imperial Division were painted completely in the same shade of Black.  Most times the transmission only got some sloppy over-spray from the engine painter.

Do you have some valve cover stickers for the engine  ( ... http://www.osborn-reproduction.com/catalog/ProductDetail.asp?rsProduct_Position=FIL%3ACAT+%3D+%27D42A%27ORD%3AABS%3A1KEY%3APAR%3A )

The NOS vac reservoir is not at my place.

Subject: IML: 1960 Imperial LeBaron Engine Paint color Q & A

Greetings Imperialists,

I was out last evening to see the latest progress Lupe my restorer has made on my 1960 LeBaron. He went ahead and pressure washed the engine and transmission and spray painted it a high temperature black. I believe this is correct and he also plans on applying a high temperature gloss. I have a few questions for the club members which is this:

Q: Do the valve covers also get painted black?

Q: Does the transmission get painted black?

Q: Does anyone know where I can run down a NOS vacuum reservoir?

The paint code for this vehicle is:

P N T
B B 1

Thank you in advance for any assistance you may be able to offer.

Best Regards,

Ct. Drakeula
