Automobile restoration is an expensive proposition.
I thought that's what you were doing, owning and
operating such an old car. 

Guess I don't know as much as I thought after doing 15
cars of my own.... 



Good news is that the advice is free and you don't
have to take it.  Good luck with your failed booster.
