RE: IML: Imperials: A Progressive Disease

I have done without a lot of other things that some people consider necessary to their lives in order to own Imperials, and though I'm not really a mechanic, I've become a pretty fair "shade-tree" mechanic to my Imperials,  just by crawling under the cars and DOING things that would otherwise cost a lot.
The pleasure I get just by driving my cars is worth more to me than a lot of other stuff I could have had.
To paraphrase the immortal words of Tevye, "If Imperial-ownership is a disease, May God smite me with it, and may I never recover!"

LMAO.  I guess I just love my car more that I would those other things.  Just think of what that fur coat would look like after 47 years compared to your Imperial.

Well...my diamond ring never leaked transmission fluid and the fur coat never failed to start.  However, it would be a lot easier crawling underneath that ring on my back!  And checking the fluid level on the fur coat master cylinder is a lot easier to reach.
