That lens works from 1960 through 1963. I believe that it is being reproduced. So far, I don't need one, but I think the old one can also be repaired if you are careful.

The 1960 uses the same dome light lens - I don't know about earlier than that.  I have to get a new one for my '62 as well as the previous owner coated the inside of the lens with blue paint and I broke the little button when I pulled the lens to see if I could get the paint off.

Fellow Imperialists,

I was wondering if anyone who has a bug eyed Imperial knows where to find a dome light lens. Short of the usual places (junkyard treasure hunts and NOS hens teeth finds) is there anyone who casts this lens?

And then this leads to part II of my question; is this unique dome light only for 61-63's or did it go beyond that era?
