Gentlemen, Just a note on prices on this side of the Atlantic, both in Germany and UK.
It seems cars over here might be (and I emphasise might) might be considered highly priced, perhaps for 3 reasons.
- Owners in the know tend insure their cars at high value. In case of loss, they know they need to recover the cost of shipping - and the finding too.
- Proportionally, and sadly, a good many cars over here are unfortunately a bit on the rough side. Our notoriously bad weather and puny garages don?t help. The well looked after Top Cars, in great shape, are very much in the minority. Hence the higher values for these.
- Thirdly, because we?ve fewer folk over here who are fully up to speed and knowledgeable, SOME vendors try it on.
