When I changed the gas tank sending unit on my '62, I did not drop the tank completely from the car. I unfastened the forward end and put a floor jack under it with a suitable board to protect the surface of the tank and lowered it enough to do the work. That avoided having to mess with the large "O"-ring. I too was afraid I would never find a replacement "O"-ring at the time. It is good to know that they are not difficult to find. What was the source for the replacement "O"-ring?Joe S. ----------------- http://www.imperialclub.com -----------------This message was sent to you by the Imperial Mailing List.
