Hello, I just replaced the rear springs and shocks all the way around on my 
57, I only needed to adjust the torsion bars in the front....
man what a difference!!!
Our bars in the front are adjusted to raise lower and equalize the side to 
side height...There are adjusting nuts? on the ends and this can be done 
by...If yours have not moved in a while try to soak them with deep creep or 
a penetrating oil for a few days...
If your bars had broken you would really know it!!!
My bet is just an adjustment.
I will look in my fsm to see if they outline a procedure and email it to 
you....
Torsion aire is great!
