If the engine is good, and you want it or need it, I would try to get someone on the shippers end to set that engine in the engine bay, bolt it down, and send it all at one time. The car without the engine is going to cost you the same. The cost comparison would be between shipping the engine separately, and just paying someone to temporarily bolt it on the engine mounts.

Im looking at a car out of state that has the engine out,ive had cars shipped before but not car and engine seperatly,how is this done ,and price wise am I better off in long run just purchasing car,thanks
