If not already mentioned. In the latest issue of "Hemmings Classic
Cars" there is a comparison between a 76 Cadillac Sedan de Ville and a 75 (or
74, I do not recall) Imperial. The author concluded the Cadillac
had better performance but the Imperial had better handling.
Also, the author thought the Imperial had a stiffer ride (as a byproduct of the
better handling).

In my humble opinion - Imperial never had a rival!! It was all
about HANDLING.And that is where we were light years ahead. True some year
Caddy's were faster - and GM's coachwork may have been
better -- but remember one thing - Imperials were built by
car lovers for car lovers.
