Usually, this is
caused by the car being out of range of any station, or the antenna coming
unplugged. If you are sure there is no problem there, the failure is
inside the radio (insufficient signal strength is reaching the trigger tube)
and it will have to be checked by a radio technician. If the radio is performing
normally as long as you don’t use the signal seeking feature, that pretty
well proves the problem is internal. Dick Benjamin (who used
