vaguely familiar. I also HAD a holley on mine. I took some sage advice from
someone on the list. I think the almost exact words were “Remove the holley,
dropkick it into the nearest garbage can and install a carter/edelbrock”. I took
that advice (except I put the holley on the shelf). What a transformation. After
spending hundreds on having pros rebuild the holley, I just dropped the
edelbrock on (with slight linkage mods), set the mixture screws by the book, and
voila…it never ran this smooth before. Dave 67
