Thanks Mark for the link to Mrs. Blueberry, I had not been able to find it. 

 

I tried naming my cars but they never stuck.  The first owner of my '60 was a woman by the name of Ruth.  Never even considered calling it that.  I know people who have named their cars after relatives and names from tv characters.  Endora from bewitched is my favorite. 

 

I finally decided on LeCrown because my car was a Crown with dealer installed LeBaron emblems.  Both my parts cars were LeBarons as well so the car really is somewhere in the middle.  During the restoration I returned it to its' Crown status so now it is just "The Crown".

 

My '60 LeBaron had a factory ordered full leather interior in white.  White was not available in  LeBarons so the door panels had the crown panels instead of LeBaron so technically it became the CroBaron though usually it was just the LeBaron.

 

Now I have a dear friend in Palm Springs who has a '60 Custom coupe in dawn mauve.  I am sure he will not mind me sharing the story of this car's name.  It was originally just called Nipple because of the color.  Now that he has bought a Crown and a LeBaron parts car I had to come up with a new name.  Combine Custom, Crown, and LeBaron and you get LeCrust which we thought was mighty appropriate considering the condition of the car at the time.  Thus Nipple LeCrust was born.  Sounds like a drag name huh?  That car is currently being painted so we'll have to come up with something new.  Maybe it can be the new Custom LeCrown.
