I would not assume all brand new parts are a guarantee that none are defective. Just as a guess, I'd say about 25% of the new parts I have bought have had some defect. Earlier this year I bought a new altenator that upon fire up FRIED my fusible link! If you got a bad or poorly rebuilt master cylinder of even wheel cylinders you could have this problem. Don't just assume because you just bought it it's good. Quality control was invented for a reason.
