RE: IML: Imperial Shipping - Detroit to Halifax, or Calais Maine

_I have a 67 Imp Le Baron myself, had it since 87. This car is virtually indestructible save for the rotors which are rare and one year only. If your brakes are ok , I would drive. Another thing however: Mr Goulet from Sherbrooke, PQ is selling his 67 convertible. I saw the car this summer , white and mint. He took 2 cars to get this one sharp and I saw the other one ) a crown 4 door) which is really nice even after being canobalized. It is far closer than Detroit. He is asking 20 grand. Also another 67 conv. totally redone professionnally was for sale last year . Breathtaking . 40 k, light green near Riviere du Loup, still closer. It is the owner of a Chrysler dealer Arthabaska Chrysler I believe.. Presently he has a 69 Convertible Chrysler 300 for sale at 14K. Gorgeous turn key.

Is the car drivable? If so, I'd just fly down and drive it back. If it needs minor things like a tune-up, new tires, or something like that (even having the gas tank cleaned), I'd have it done it Detroit and drive it back myself.
