I met with the derby guy I mentioned in a previous post a couple of days ago and saw both the white 75 Imperial he is now driving and also his parts car, a 76 NYB. In reality the NYB was originally the more attractive (IMO) and better equipped car. Beige with a brown top and brown leather, it is very "earth tones" and pretty. I would have picked this over the 75 Imperial without a doubt. The NYB appears to be collision free and still wears its original HL4 beige paint with brown pinstriping. There's a bit of road salt rot. The brown leather interior (code PLT7) is extremely nice and will clean up beautifully. The car still has the original factory ribbed vinyl mats (brown). It would be a real shame to send this nice leather and original mats to the shredder so if anyone is interested in them speak up. Location is SE PA. The bumpers have been sold but the car has an undamaged front header with disappearing headlamp setup. Some grill blistering from damp storage. Anyone need/want this? The whole dash will be removed and trashed. It has a search-tune radio and cruise control. Brown dash pad is uncracked IIRC. All four door panels are nice except for a nickel-sized area on the driver's door at the top front. It looks like it rubbed on a molding. Window switches and motors/regulator are taken. Still wearing a pristine set of NYB wheelcovers and they're available. Motor and transmission already gone. Keys and lock cylinders available. Contact me off list if you want anything. Don't dawdle. I've held off the grim reaper for one month MAXIMUM. After that it's over and done. I have a couple pics including one of the fender tag. Again, contact me offlist.
