I installed Gabriel air shocks on my 64. When leaving my driveway with rear seat passengers, the tailpipe would drag on the asphalt. The rear leaf springs needed a little boost, and the air shocks work just fine. I mounted the air valve inside the trunk so I can easily make adjustments before leaving the house, and it's not visible from the outside and isn't exposed to the elements.
