IML: 69-73 Imperial nameplate/eagle??

Can someone tell me when the nameplate(Imperial) was used on the front fender verus the Eagle emblem. It appears that each year either used the eagle emblem or the nameplate- Imperial 
Also, I think that in 1973 the nameplate was only used on the rear quarter panel?
