Wow, you guys are being pretty harsh on this poor car. If it's not rotted out, there's still plenty of potential in that car. Maybe not for a 100% correct restoration, but a nice cruiser or tasteful custom sure. Right now it doesn't even work as a tacky custom. The front bumper appears to have had its protrusions replaced with polished stainless steel. And trailer running lights added below. That could be remedied easy enough. I'm not sure what the looped wire hanging out of the front is for. OK, I just went back and took a closer look at the pictures. That car needs some loving, or to be put out of its misery. Rob McCall '67 LeBaron (need some love too, but not as bad at that '59) -----Original Message----- looks like it came from Cuba. -----Original Message----- It sure seems to be missing a lot especialy in the brightwork they must have saved a fortune in chrome tell me if Im wrong but the front bumper looks all wrong it looks more like a grayhound buss than an imperial they should send it to cuba. -----Original Message----- Ya now, this time I think the 59 Cadillac won. Referrence to his comments. Since I work on these cars, I would have to pass if the new owner called and asked if I could redo this one. -----Original Message----- somehow this car is one that you would not mind seeing go to the demolition derby. -----Original Message----- Sometimes it's not a good idea to use a Miami restoration shop for the blind. ----------------- http://www.imperialclub.com ----------------- This message was sent to you by the Imperial Mailing List.
