1981-83 real axle ratio

 I wondered about that, too...the lowest rear ratio
I've ever seen for a Mopar rear is 2.76.   Is it
really 2.2??

I think you may just be able to bolt in a different
set of gear...there were some 8.25 gears on ebay
recently.  Anything from a 2.76 to a 2.94 should work
nice with a 318 Imperial...even a 3.23 if you plan on
doing mostly city driving.
