rear seats coupe to convertible

Hi guys, thanks Everyone for all the info on the purple leather interior!
Mark and Lillian please look up the address for the hides and dyesas I am
pursuing all avenues (even talking to my dad who had used my Grandfathers
Singer once upon more than a few moons ago as to what is wrong with it!). It
is not an Imperial but the GTO convert I have did not have a back seat when
I got it. I had a buddy with a frame for his convert and he loaned it to me
for a pattern and was able to shorten a regular hardtop seat to work
perfectly! If some one can furnish you with pictures and measurements I can
not see why a coupe seat couldn't be made to work(I don't think a 4 door is
close enough[at least on other cars, I must qualify this with my newness to
Imps!]). Remember these cars were made to be mass produced and it costs
money to make too many changes! Thanks again Guys-n-Dolls Thad
