1957 Convertibles were a little over a 1000.00 I
think but how many would some one think are

And just to put this in perspective, 1957 being the year
the most Imps were
ever sold, as reference:
1965 Mustang coupes:
409,260
57 Chevy BelAir coupes: 166,426
70 Dodge Challenger hardtop:
53,337
68 Javelin including SST : 55124
All the cars listed above
are thought of as "rare collectibles" by most of
the collector car
market, and yet outnumber our highest production Imp by a
considerable
number, over 10 to one in just 65 Mustang coupe production,
thats just
one body style! Our cars are very rare , and could only be
afforded by
fairly affluent folks when new. There are a few cars rarer
than
Imperials, but not many. We are lucky to be owners and fans of a
very
exclusive car, and we're even luckier that compared to most other
collector
cars, for what you get for your money in 2002 dollars, is
much more than
most other people get when they buy a vintage
automobile.
