Bruce, please start off with something less valuable
(like a '57 Chevy!) to practice on before you takle
your car. It does take time and practice, otherwise
you will end up replacing a whole quarter panel at a
shop and ruining a patch panel.
Not to shoot you down but I have a GTO which was done
by a ruputed expert! This is a botched job and another
on a Hemi Road Runner I owned is the reason I bought a
tig welder, so I will not have this problem in the
future!
Practice first, you'll be happy you did!
