About speedo it's nearly impossible to remove it without removing
the dash ! My speedo needs repair but i can't remove it: ther's
the bracket dash (and other things) which prevents to remove..
But you can try (needs removing wiper motor arms) !
The cneter drive shaft rubber must be bonded to the bracket, if
it is loose you'll have vibrations and some knocks when you need
torque.
Mine was ok but i've coated it with windshield bonded material
used for today bonded windshield. This glue is very strong and
remains flexible.
