I also read a members comment about
putting fiberglass house insulation under the intake... I remember seeing
all those foil packs of insulation under the intakes of cars I had when I
was younger (haven't had to tear that deep into the Imperials
yet!). Any idea where those foil packs can be had??

mentioned this, Steve. I suspect year one would have it. Since the big
blocks are all similar, one for a 440 should be the same for a Roadrunner
or Charger as for an Imperial.
If they don't have it, it may not be available, but Paddocks could
have it or any number of muscle car parts suppliers should be able to
come up with one.
Year One has a web sight and I think it has a search capability.
