Saw this on another list and thought there might be some interest here. Do not contact me about this car. Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- Totally loaded triple-butterscotch 4-door '73 Imperial is for sale in the megalopolis of Boyne City, Michigan. (hold up your left hand, palm away from you. Boyne City is near the base of your ring finger's nail) I was only able to give it a 10 minute inspection, being already late for the airport. Anyway, here's the results It appears to have almost every possible option, including dual spotlights and bug guard. Body appears to be in astoundingly good shape. There's one bad bondo patch in the rocker just in front of the left rear wheel well; plus a couple of of not very expert touchups. Otherwise, everything appears solid and straight. I did not see evidence of an overall body repaint, but wasn't able to give it a thorough inspection. Fancy cloth interior, hardly worn. The back seat looks as if it has hardly ever been sat in, the front seat is pretty good too. Engine compartment is immaculate. 70K on the odometer, original spare in the trunk, along with original and unmolested hardboard panels and (apparently) carpeting). Ashtrays appear to have seen gumdrops and toothpicks, but no evidence of cigarettes. The owner is asking $5500 for it. Apparently the original owner was an old guy in Colorado; then the current owner's father bought it, brought it to Boyne City, did some fix up, and then sold it at auction. The third owner eventually needed to raise cash to build a house, so sold it to the current owner. I love the car, but don't want a survivor in my life right now - need something that can be messed with without guilt. If you're interested, contact: Skip (father) 231 582 2901 Brian (son) 231 549 2011 I talked to Skip - he indicated that he's probably the best contact, as Brian tends to be out and about a lot. If you're interested, let me know and I can have a friend go by to check it out in greater detail. (can't do it myself - I'll be 2500 miles away by the time you get this). I was able to take some pictures with the PDA. They're a little fuzzy, but I've put them on the group photo page (http://photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/mopar_c_body/lst) in the "73 Imperial FS" folder. Chris
