This last Saturday night, Marion and I went over to downtown St. Paul, where they block of Kellogg Street for car shows. This is done every Saturday evening from the end of May through the end of September. It is a very nice venue for a car show. No charge, and the St. Paul police are in force to watch out for things. We arrived about 4:00 pm in our 1951 Imperial sedan (dark blue), and ten minutes later, another 1951 Imperial sedan (medium green) parked across from us. You seldom every see one of these cars, much less two in great condition at the same time. Much attention was attracted from those who really appreciate the fine quality of Chrysler products of that era. I subsequently found out that the other car has been in long term storage, for over 18 years, and was purchased about a year ago, and has been back in limited circulation since being acquired by the new owner. Too bad more of these fine cars don't get out more often, as they are really enjoyed by the public, who tire of the of seeing all the muscle cars and 57 chev's that populate most of these shows.
