'81-'83 digital dash speed limit

Is there any way to get rid of the 85 limit on the speedo for the '81 - '83 
digital instrument cluster?  I seen to recall reading somewhere about a 
microswitch on the back of the unit.  I looked at both, an ECM (EFI) and non 
ECM (EFI) instrument cluster, and could not find any microswitch, except for 
the test switch, which is a momentary switch, located on the bottom of the 
cluster.
