Thanks for the information.

 

The prices we normally pay is dollars for pounds plus a bit,

so the price i was quoted is probably fair (ish)

 

I could order direct from the states but i would have to add

$20 US postage plus 2% UK customs, 17.5% tax then

£10 to £15 customs clearance which i cant be bothered

to work out but sounds a lot of money and hassle.

(please no violins)

I just bought the part Neil is talking about at my dealer last week.  (Utica Chrysler-Plymouth, Inc.) The part number is:

The cost on the bill is, $57.45 list, $54.20 net.  With tax I paid $58.54.

Very easy to put in.  Check the archives for mine and Dick B's comments.
