Dreaded asterisk and odometer 81-83?

Thanks, that makes sense now. I almost think I should have caught that on my
own; maybe I am not so smart as I would like to think! All those electronic
gadgets yet they didn't make a 1 that would turn into a 2. I am not sure if
I should be pleased or disappointed with the high mileage. I have seen a few
of these cars sitting with super low miles, for no other reason than they
wouldn't run long enough to rack them up! If it worked for 130K miles, maybe
I can squeeze a few more out of it. On a side note, what part of the car
actually stores the mileage data? Is it in the dash itself? Thanks....
