New for 58



The electrojector by Bendix did not have tubes. The production units had 
transisters. The only cars that came with the system were 300Ds, DeSoto, 
Dodge and Plymouth. No Imperials were built with EFI. The cost was more than 
$400 -- closer to $500. When the cars were recalled, the owner's were paid 
$700 for the inconvenience and the cars were changed over to carburetion.
