Another trick we used to do in Western Pennsylvania to combat the wet and salty road conditions, was to clean the front & rear sides of the hubcaps or wheelcovers, and also the bumpers. Then apply a coat of Simonize Paste Wax and let it dry, and don't wipe it off the back sides. Some people even left it on the outsides through the winter months..................................Bill B.
