Loyal, I don't have a coupe but knowing how they are made, I'm fairly
certain the seat has to come out. At least the seat bottom. It probably
has spring clips on the sides and then lifts straight up. Might also be a
screw or two. Again, I don't have a 66 coupe but that's how I expect it is
based on my 57 coupe and my 4drs.
