68 Imperial

I just got off the phone after talking to a lady who is selling a 68 Imperial. She has not had a lot of action regarding the car, just one guy who made a much lower offer than the asking price which is 2,500.00. She is not the owner of the car so she couldn't tell me what model it is. This is what I did find out. It has less than 50,000 miles and is on the second set of tires, it needs a muffler, It runs great and everything works. It has a tear in the front seat. It is a kind of tan color. She cleaned it up for the guy who owns it and said it is in really good shape. She said it does have minor rust!

I am going to go and look at it this Saturday. Any particular things I should look for that might be pertinent regarding the 68s? I am not to sure if I am interested in it for myself but if anyone else is let me know. I intend to take pictures etc. It sounds like a nice car but who knows??? It is located in northern Illinois so if it has been here all its life I am not so sure about the minor rust deal. I must admit I am interested but I have my heart set on a 56.
